An early Happy New Year to all Pacific Northwest Horror/Sci Fi/Fantasy Fans!

As 2019 approaches, everyone is wondering what the New Year holds in store for them.  Well, you happen to be in luck, Pacific Northwest Horror/Sci Fi/Fantasy Fans, as I can see into the future!

Because the future is where you and I will be spending
the rest of our lives!

Well, at least I can see into the future of genre events coming to the area next year.  Don't try asking me about the next lotto drawing.  If I knew the winning numbers, I'd be hiring a staff to help me in the New Year!

And I have quite a bit to share in this edition of the Weekly Update.  The Rio Theatre in Vancouver, BC, has some great films to end 2018, and some amazing choices to help with that New Year hangover on January 1.  The Darkside Cinema in Corvallis, OR, starts the New Year's Sci-Fi Extravaganza series with the camp classic Barbarella on Tuesday, and Weird Wednesday at The Joy Cinema in Tigard, OR, kicks off 2019 with Invasion of the Bee Girls.  The PDX Extreme Film Festival starts next weekend at the Mission Theater in Portland, OR, as well as Fandom PDX at the Sheraton Portland Airport Hotel.  And you'll find lots of other great conventions and movies listed below!

But my predictions for a great 2019 continue at the Horror/Sci Fi/Fantasy Calendar.  I've been adding lots of great movies, festivals, conventions and bazaars coming to the area next year.  And more are waiting to be added, so be sure to keep checking back!

If you want your event listed on the site, just email me at shadowoverportland@live.com with all the details and your promotional artwork, and I'll take care of the rest.  Best of all, the cost for having your event posted on the site will continue to be FREE in 2019!

I see.... You saving on advertising dollars while reaching hundreds of fans across the Pacific Northwest if you post on The Shadow Over Portland!  How's that for a prediction!!

From Ashland, OR, to Vancouver, BC, The Shadow Over Portland has you covered!
