Rain or shine, you'll always find a great Horror/Sci Fi/Fantasy Event to attend at The Shadow Over Portland!

I was heading out the door to my day job this morning and walked into a rather pleasant drizzle falling from the sky.  Certainly not enough of a rainstorm to go back and get my rain gear, so I hopped on my bike and headed down the road.  I won't say the sky opened up on me about a minute into my bicycle ride, but the drizzle turned into a shower, and by the time I locked up my bike, I was drenched.

Ah, weather in the the Pacific Northwest.  Never know what's going to happen until you're out in it, then it's too late.

Fortunately, I don't melt when I contact water.
Just extremely high temperatures, which are coming this weekend.

But no matter what the weather, you'll find some great Horror/Sci Fi/Fantasy event occurring in the Pacific Northwest, and this edition of the Weekly Update has a list of great movies and markets occurring in the Pacific Northwest over the next week.  You'll find something great to do, no matter what weather Mother Nature throws at us.

And you'll want to check out the Horror/Sci Fi/Fantasy Calendar, as I've added the Rocket Sci Fi series of robot movies at the Pickford Film Center in Bellingham, WA, and the schedule for the Nocturnal Emissions series at the Northwest Film Forum in Seattle, WA.  I've also added the great films coming to The Hollywood Theatre in Portland, OR, many in GLORIOUS 35mm.  Keep checking back, as I'm always adding more great films, events, conventions and MORE!

From Ashland, OR, to Vancouver, BC, The Shadow Over Portland has you covered!
