Here's some great ways to beat the heat this week!

While not everyone is going to experience hot summer weather in the Pacific Northwest this week, I know some places (including Portland) will reach past the 90 degree mark in the next few days.  So if checking out a film sounds like your way of beating the heat, this edition of the Weekly Update is full of great features to check out.

It could be worse.  At least temperatures won't break 100 degrees like last year. *Knock on wood*

Old favorites, cult classics, modern hits, this list has all the films Pacific Northwest Horror/Sci Fi/Fantasy Fans will want to check out.  And you'll find a few outdoor movies and stage events to help with the warm days ahead.  If you want to plan your outings further in the summer months, check out the Horror/Sci Fi/Fantasy Calendar for everything taking place in 2022 and beyond!

Anyway, I'm cutting this short, as I've got to get back to the day job.  Stay safe and I'll be back next week with more great events happening under The Shadow Over Portland.

If you'd like to support the site, please visit my Ko-fi page.  Thank you!
