If you're not into "the big game," check out Horror/Sci Fi/Fantasy events happening this weekend!

Yep, if you didn't know it, Sunday is Super Bowl... I don't know, some number in Roman numerals.

It's hard not to notice the game is this weekend, with all the "You need this for your Bowl party" ads, and the hype for all the commercials and trailers being screen during the game.  And yes, I know Beyoncé is performing for half time.  But I haven't a clue which two teams are playing.  Please, you don't have to  tell me who's in the game.  I wasn't going to be watching anyway.

Now if this was one of the teams, I'd be there for the pregame, the game, and the postgame wrap-up!

If you're planning to avoid the game as well, this edition of the Weekly Update is full of great Horror/Sci Fi/Fantasy Events for you to check out.  I've got details on a Valentine's-themed Haunted House this Friday and Saturday in Portland, OR (tickets were selling out last night, so don't delay), the showtime for Revenge of the Creature in Bellingham, WA, a few Valentine's Day events, and MUCH MORE.

Of course, you'll find even more on the Horror/Sci Fi/Fantasy Calendar, as lots of cons have expended, or started releasing, the guests heading to the Pacific Northwest.  As always, I updated it every few days, so if you're looking for something to do in the future, the calendar is a good place to start.

Anyway, it's back to the day job.  Everyone have a great week, stay safe, and I'll be back next Friday with another update from The Shadow Over Portland.

If you'd like to support the site, please visit my Ko-fi page.  Thank you!
