Oh Cthulhu, what a week!

Well, it was fun while it lasted.  As I mentioned last Friday, I was pretty well caught up with posting events on the site.  But that was in the middle of an eight-day work week, with two back-to-back 11 hour days.  And, on the eighth day, the roads in Portland did another number on my bike, tearing a chunk of rubber out of the rear tire.  So I ended up walking about three miles to the nearest open bike shop on Thursday to get a replacement.  And now I'm back at the day job, feeling really worn out.  Guess I don't bounce back from such a work schedule as I did a decade ago.

Yeah, that was me as the day job ran me over.

I tried to get this Weekly Update out on Friday, but I just couldn't do it.  Just too tired after fixing my bike and getting some much needed cleaning done in the kitchen.  Sure, this edition might be a day late, but it's still full of great movies and live events happening around the Pacific Northwest Horror/Sci Fi/Fantasy.

And I do get two more days off after today, so I'm hoping to get the Horror/Sci Fi/Fantasy Calendar caught up again by Monday night.  No, better say it's going to happen, because if I'm still behind by mid-September, the Halloween season will show me no mercy.

By the way, the Halloween Haunted Attraction page is online, so check it out.  But be sure to keep coming back, as I'll be adding more attractions as I find them.

Well, back to the day job I go.  Have a great week, stay safe and I'll be back on Friday (fingers and tentacles crossed) with more great events happening under The Shadow Over Portland!

If you'd like to support the site, please visit my Ko-fi page.  Thank you!
