It's sky flower season!

I want to wish my readers in the US a safe and happy 4th of July.

I like sky flowers!

Of course, you could always check out a film or live event this week, and you'll find some great suggestions in this edition of the Weekly Update.  Of course, Jaws is back in theaters, as well as Orca.  You'll also find plenty of Studio Ghibli films, a bunch of John Carpenter classics playing in Portland, OR, and MUCH MORE!  Just scroll down.

As always, the Horror/Sci Fi/Fantasy Calendar is filling up with film festivals and events taking place throughout the rest of the year and beyond.  Check it out if you want to start making geeky plans for the rest of 2023.

Well, that's all I have for now, as I'm at the day job.  Stay safe and I'll be back next week with more great things to check out under The Shadow Over Portland!

If you'd like to support the site, please visit my Ko-fi page.  Thank you!
