Sorry the update is so late, but last week just wrecked me

I suspect it was the extra effort I had to put into the day job, and biking back and forth to work in the summer heat, that kicked my ass so hard I started my weekend spending 16 hours in bed on Sunday.  I haven't spent that much time on my mattress since the last time I throw my back out years ago.  And even after getting out of bed, I couldn't do much more than lay on the couch and watch comfort movies.

Yeah, that about sums up how I felt after I got home Saturday night.

I'm still feeling pretty beat, but I wanted to get this edition of the Weekly Update out, as some cool things are happening this week I wanted to share.  Check out all the Horror/Sci Fi/Fantasy goodness happening in the Pacific Northwest down below.

I'm going to try and get the site up to date this week by finishing a couple reviews I've written, and adding more events to the Horror/Sci Fi/Fantasy Calendar.  But I'm not promising anything, as I suspect the coming week at the day job will be just as taxing as the last.  I'll see how it goes.

That's all I have for now.  Stay hydrated in this heat, be safe, and I'll be back, hopefully earlier than this week, with another Weekly Update from The Shadow Over Portland.
