Well, it looks like things are cooling down in the Pacific Northwest, and the air quality advisory notices are being lifted, but the hot, hazy summer is fair from over. We still have some hot weather coming next week, and while the air quality is improving, we always could have a repeat of the past few days.
A few more days like last week, and I'll bet most everyone
will welcome the return of rainy weather.
But whether the conditions are driving you indoors, or you don't want to miss a moment of sunshine, this edition of the Weekly Update is full of great Horror/Sci Fi/Fantasy films, stage presentations, outings and festivals that you are sure to find something fun to add to your calendar of events for the week!
And be sure to check out the Horror/Sci Fi/Fantasy Calendar at some point during the week, to give you an idea of the events you'll want to see in the coming months. It's almost THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR, and you know I'll be updating the page as I get more details on the haunted attractions and frightful films coming to the Pacific Northwest in October.
If you want your film festival, event or haunted attraction listed on the site, just email me at shadowoverportland@live.com with all the details, and any promotional artwork, and I'll take care of it. Best of all, posting your event is FREE and will reach hundreds of local readers!
And if you attend any of the events listed on the site, please help spread the word by letting the organizers know you read about it at The Shadow Over Portland!!
