To start, I want to apologize for missing last week's update. But the issues at the day job I mentioned in September have continued and last week, I headed to The Shadow Over Portland office (AKA Home) with no energy or creative spark, as if something was sucking the life force out of me.
What, you expected a visual representation of my job
to look like Mathilda May?
Anyway, after spending the weekend resting, and keeping a leaden iron spike handy, I managed to get EVEN MORE Halloween goodies crammed into the site. In fact, this edition of the Weekly Update runs through Sunday, November 2, in case you want to plan out some post-Halloween activities.
One reason for the extra long post is, as of 11 am on October 22, The Hollywood Theatre has listed tickets for sale on several sold out events. You'll find details below, but buy your tickets fast, as tickets might not be available for long.
The
Halloween Calendar of Events has been updated with several new haunted attractions, but as I've got a little over a week before Halloween Night, I'm sure I'll find more locations for you to get your scare-on before the season ends. So please keep checking back!
The same goes for the
Horror/Sci Fi/Fantasy Calendar. But you can also start looking into the great events coming to the Pacific Northwest as the year comes to a close, and get started on planning out 2020!
Remember, if you have something you'd like to share with readers of The Shadow Over Portland, just email me with the details and promotional artwork, and I'll do the rest. And remember, listing your event on the site is FREE!!
From Ashland, OR, to Vancouver, BC, The Shadow Over Portland has you covered.
Now Playing
Halloweentown
(AKA St Helens, OR) is in full swing! The yearly month-long
celebration runs through October 27 (though decorations will stay up
through Halloween Night), and you can still take in A LOT of great
events. For a complete list, visit the
