If you don't believe the headline, just scroll down and take a look at all the great stuff happening in the Pacific Northwest in the coming weeks. It might not be as busy as October, but you'll find some great stage events and plenty of cool movies, both new releases and classics, out there.
You might even find something to help you get over the upcoming Thanksgiving family dinner.
As for December, it's shaping up to be pretty busy as well. Head over to the Horror/Sci Fi/Fantasy Calendar for a look at all the events I've found so far. Christmas slasher and action classics, a holiday zombie musical, a comic con, a metal belly dance performance and LOTS MORE! And I'm already adding in events coming in 2022, so keep checking back.

The Rio Theatre (1660 East Broadway in Vancouver, BC) will screen Kinji Fukasaku's Battle Royale, in the original Japanese with English subtitles, tonight at 11:20 pm.
The Hollywood Theatre (4122 NE Sandy Blvd in Portland, OR) is showing the cult cannibal comedy Eating Raoul
tonight at 7:30 pm. The screening is a tribute to Ray Tillotson,
founder of Ray's Ragtime vintage store, who passed away recently. 100%
of the box office will go towards paying his medical bills.
Friday Night Frights at the Blue Mouse Theatre (2611 N Proctor St in Tacoma, WA) will screen Lucio Fulci's Lovecraftian classic The Beyond tonight at 10 pm.

The Grand Cinema (606 Fawcett Ave in Tacoma, WA) will show the winter superhero animated feature Rise of the Guardians today 10 am. Part of the Free Family Flick series, admission is FREE. Doors open at 9:30 am, the film starts at 10 am, and admission is first come, first served.

Re-Run Theater at the Hollywood Theatre (4122 NE Sandy Blvd in Portland, OR) will screen the Rankin/Bass animated film The Return of the King tonight at 7:30 pm.
It's time for some Thanksgiving horrors at The Beacon (4405 Rainier Ave S in Seattle, WA) as the theater serves up the cheesy slasher classic Blood Rage tonight at 7:30 pm.

Stumptown Stages presents a world premiere musical, A Carol for Christmas, at Portland'5 Winningstad Theatre
(1111 SW Broadway in Portland, OR) through Sunday, December 19. The
production takes Dickens classic holiday ghost tale and sets in the
Midwest during the 1930's American Depression. Sounds like the perfect
setting for a tale about greed, the disregard for humanity and personal
redemtion.

Church of Film presents Russian Fairy Tale Animation at 7 pm tonight at The Red Fox (5128 N Albina Ave in Portland, OR). This collection of short films is from Soyuzmultfilm, the Soviet Union's best animation studio. Admission is FREE, the screening is outdoor, covered and heated.
