I'm back from my vacation and ready to get the Weekly Update back on track!

Sorry I missed last week, Pacific Northwest Horror/Sci Fi/Fantasy Fans, but I was on vacation for nine days and never pulled my computer out of my backpack.  I thought I might be able to get a Weekly Update out last Wednesday, but I just never found the time.

While my vacation ended in Florida with a visit to my father last week, I spent the first four days in Mars, PA, at the Monster Bash and had a great time!  I met a lot of people I've known only online or talked with on Monster Kid Radio, reconnected with a few other people, spent enough in the vendor room to make my wallet scream for mercy, and had more fun than I thought was possible!!

And I got to meet Martine Beswick AND Veronica Carlson.
Thank Cthulhu an AED device was nearby, as my heart STOPPED
after these photos were shot!

I'll post more on the Bash later, but for now, let's get to the Weekly Update, which is full of great movies, conventions, markets and MORE, which should keep you busy over the next few days!  You'll also find details on how you can support Horrific: A Night of Horror Themed Belly Dance (taking place in Tacoma, WA, next January) and information on submitting a team to compete in the 11th Annual GuignolFest this October in Portland, OR.

And you'll want to check out the Horror/Sci Fi/Fantasy Calendar, as I've spent the past few days adding a lot of great events coming to the Northwest later this year.  New additions include some great genre films heading to the Yelm Cinemas in August, silent horror and sci fi films coming to The Hollywood Theatre in September, October and late November,  the latest from VHS Uber Alles and MUCH MORE!  I'll be adding more as details become available, so keep checking back!!

If you'd like to have your event posted on the site, just email me at shadowoverportland@live.com with the details and promotional artwork, and I'll do the rest!  Best of all, you'll be able to reach hundreds of Pacific Northwest Horror/Sci Fi/Fantasy Fans for FREE!!

From Ashland, OR, to Vancouver, BC, The Shadow Over Portland has you covered!
