It's time for the newest Weekly Update!

Man, that's a lame headline.  And I should know, as I wrote it.   But, after staring at the computer screen for over five minutes, trying to think of something more witty, more topical, or just more entertaining, I gave up.  I got nothing this week.

It's like this headline.
Yeah, we know.
The zombie hordes roaming the streets already clued us in!

But even if the headline is worth skipping over, this edition of the Weekly Update is something you'll want to check out.  I've got movies, Harry Potter birthday celebrations of the family (and not so family) friendly variety, toy shows and MUCH MORE!

Don't forget to take a look at the Horror/Sci Fi/Fantasy Calendar help plan out your summer, and the rest of the year.  I've added the dates for Metalesque Fest 2019 in October, dates for Evil Dead: The Musical when it returns to the Northwest, and many more events you won't want to miss!!

Remember, you can get your event posted on the site by emailing me all the details and promotional artwork at shadowoverportland@live.com.  I'll take care of everything except billing you, as listing events on the site is FREE!

From Ashland, OR, to Vancouver, BC, The Shadow Over Portland has you covered!

Sorry for tardiness of this edition of the Weekl Update, but you'll find it worth the wait!

Well, I had plans to get the Weekly Update out earlier, but life got in the way.  My cell phone's battery was all but dead and I needed to replace it, I had to go out a pick up a MacBook someone was giving to me on an extended loan, and the day job just kept eating away at my free time and energy.  Working in a kitchen during the summer months will drain you, as you feel you're working in a humid swamp most of the time.

It might be more tolerable if the dress code was a bit more relaxed.
Damn the need to wear pants and a shirt!

But I hope you find the wait worth your time, Pacific Northwest Horror/Sci Fi/Fantasy Fans, as this edition of the Weekly Update is full of great movies, markets, stage events and MORE!

And if you doubt things could get better, head over to the Horror/Sci Fi/Fantasy Calendar, so you can plan out the next few months without missing anything!  And remember, I'm updating it every few days, so keep checking back.

I've also got a few new ideas for The Shadow Over Portland, if I can smooth out some of the details, so stay tuned for some exciting news coming soon!

As for coming events, it's never too early to start planning for THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR!  So if you have a genre themed event coming in October, or any time in 2019, you can advertise it for FREE on the site.  Just email me at shadowoverportland@live.com with the details and promotional artwork, and I'll post it ASAP.

From Ashland, OR, to Vancouver, BC, The Shadow Over Portland has you covered!
