Be careful out there, Pacific Northwest Horror/Sci Fi/Fantasy Fans!

Well, if you feel like going out tonight, I'd suggest you reconsider, as I'm sure the roads are the same as they are around The Shadow Over Portland office.  A solid sheet of snow covered with freaking ice.  I know I have a lot of great things to share with this edition of the Weekly Update, but I suspect a lot of events and theaters are closed through the holiday season, as it's too damn dangerous to drive.

But if you feel the need to head out, please check the links on this site, or go online and check out the venue you're heading to and make sure it's open.  Because it's probably not.

Okay, so the theater's closed.  Now what do we do?

Of course, you can always look forward to next week, as the Weekly Update does.  Or check out the Horror/Sci Fi/Fantasy Calendar, to plan out your New Year.  Either way, I suggest staying home this weekend, and, just so you know, Violent Night is on VOD and is perfect holiday viewing.  No, I don't get any commission if you check it out online, but it's a holly, gory good time.

Well, that's what I've got for now.  I'll be back next week with more great events happening under The Shadow Over Portland.  Stay safe, keep warm, and I'll be back next Friday.

If you'd like to support the site, please visit my Ko-fi page.  Thank you.
