Here's some suggestions for beating the heat

The weather is expected to get cooler around the Pacific Northwest in the coming week.  We just won't be under a Heat Advisory much longer, but the temperatures will still be above 80 degrees F.  If you're like me, that's still too damn hot.

Sure, I won't ignite if I go outside.  I'll just slow roast.  I guess that's better.

But if you're looking for a way to get out of the heat, this edition of the Weekly Update is full of movies, cons, and stage events to keep you cool for a few hours.  Just scroll down and find an event near you.

And I still need to update the Horror/Sci Fi/Fantasy Calendar, though it appears I'm not as behind as I thought.  Still, you know more is coming, so keep checking back.

Well, that's what I have for now.  Keep cool, stay safe, and I'll be back next week with more great things happening under The Shadow Over Portland!
