If you need some suggestions for getting out of the heat, this edition of the Weekly Update is full of dark, air contiditioned options!

I hope you're staying cool, Pacific Northwest Horror/Sci Fi/Fantasy Fans.  It's pretty hot out there, and my day job keeps me working in one of the circles of Hell, so by the time I get back to the reasonably cool office at The Shadow Over Portland, all I want to do is melt into a puddle.

Well, the sunscreen is keeping me from burning.
Doesn't mean I'm not melting away.

Well, fear not, as this edition of the Weekly Update is full of great films to check out in the safety of a cool indoor theater.  But I've also got a few suggestions should you feel the urge to head outside as well.

I'm a bit behind on the Horror/Sci Fi/Fantasy Calendar, but I hope to procure a spot in an large walk-in cooler sometime this weekend so I can add more events without dousing my keyboard with sweat.  Be sure to check it out and start planning for THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR, as well as getting a start on 2019 plans!

Remember, I have a budget plan that will fit any advertising budget, should you want to have your event listed on the site.  Just email me the details and artwork at shadowoverportland@live.com and I'll take care of the rest.  Oh, and the cost for posting your event is FREE!  Told you it would fit any budget!!

And please help spread the word.  Should you attend any of the events listed below, let the organizers know you read about it at The Shadow Over Portland!
