If you need a post-Tax Day breather, this edition of the Weekly Updates has plenty of ways to chase the IRS blues away!

It's a scary time of year for U.S. citizens, as thoughts of colored and chocolate eggs are pushed aside in a mad rush to get that envelope postmarked on April 15th.  Yep, it's almost Tax Day and, if you're like me, you've just put filing until the last minute, perhaps in the hope the calendar would spring ahead one day on April 14.  But it's time to get things done, as the IRS will find you.

Hello, we're the IRS audit team and we're here
to talk with you about your 2018 tax form.
Oh, yes, we'll tear your deductions apart!

So, procrastinator that I am, I need to get back to my taxes.  And, if you're in the same position, you might want to check out this edition of the Weekly Update, as you'll likely need a comforting scary movie or stage event to ease your nerves after you race to get your tax return postmarked on April 15.

Don't forget to check out the Horror/Sci Fi/Fantasy Calendar for a look at the great movies, festivals, conventions, stage events and MORE coming to the Pacific Northwest in 2019!

Remember, you can have your event listed on the site just by emailing me at shadowoverportland@live.com with all the details and promotional art.  I'll do the rest, and you won't have to worry about a bill, as listings are FREE!  Of course, that means no deduction on next year's taxes, but you can't have everything.
