Get ready for the heatwave by checking the Weekly Update for great places to cool off!

It's going to be a very warm weekend in the Pacific Northwest, Horror/Sci Fi/Fantasy Fans, with the temperature in some places projected to be warmer than Death Valley over the next few days.

I know it's hot here in the desert, Doreen,
but at least we're not in the Pacific Northwest this weekend.

While I'm sure many of us will spend some time in the sun before the rain returns, you'll want to check out this edition of the Weekly Update for some great places to cool off indoors.  From conventions to bazaars, stage events to films, you're sure to find some amazing event happening close by!

And you'll want to take a look at the Horror/Sci Fi/Fantasy Calendar for the latest on future events like the Portland Horror Film Festival, the upcoming production The Ripper: Gothic Rock Musical, new guest updates for the Washington State Summer Con and the Jet City Comic Show, and details on Horrific: A Night of Horror Themed Belly Dance, the first event posting for 2020!  I keep filling it with great stuff every few days, so be sure to keep checking back!!

If you want your event posted on the site, just send me an email with the details and promotional art at shadowoverportland@live.com, and I'll take care of the rest.  Don't forget, listing your event is FREE, so you'll never have to worry about your budget!
