Things might be slowing down this month, but fear not, for October is coming!

It happens around this time every year.  News of Horror/Sci Fi/ Fantasy events taking place in the Pacific Northwest crawls to a near stop.  And it's easy to be lulled into feeling you have time to rest up before the pace slowly quickens just before THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR!

The first time that happened here at The Shadow Over Portland office, I learned things don't slowly gear up to October.  Instead, you wake up one day and find your email and Facebook page is overloaded with haunted house listings, movies, events and MORE.  After that first year, I learned to rest up as much as possible and just accept the fact that, at some point, I WILL be hit over the head with more news than I can handle.

Hello, this is your mailbox.  I've converted all your new mail that deals with October events
into a handy, compressed format, and will now smack you over the head with it!

So get ready, Pacific Northwest Horror/Sci Fi/Fantasy Fans, as things will be picking up at The Shadow Over Portland office very soon, and the site will start filling with all sorts of Halloween events.  But if you want to find something fun to do this week, check out this edition of the Weekly Update.  You find information on movies, stage events, a Bigfoot festival and the annual Goth Float!

If you want to see what's happening beyond this week, head over to the Horror/Sci Fi/Fantasy Calendar for the latest details on events happening throughout the rest of the year, and even into 2020!  I'm always adding to the page, so keep checking back for all the latest news!!

Remember, if you want your event listed on the site, just email me at shadowoverportland@live.com with the details and promotional artwork, and I'll do the rest!  Best of all, it won't dip into your advertising budget, as having your event posted on the site is FREE!!

From Ashland, OR, to Vancouver, BC, The Shadow Over Portland has you covered!
