Well, it's going to be the perfect weekend to head for a cool theater.

This weekend is going to be very warm in parts of the Pacific Northwest, with some areas under a heat advisory warning.  And while the temperatures won't climb as high as last summer's heat dome days, it still feels like the perfect weekend for heading to a nice, dark, air conditioned theater.

I'm one of those "lucky" people who'll be working outside during this hot weekend, so I'll be MEEEELTING!

If spending time in a cool theater theater sounds good to you, this edition of the Weekly Update is full of great movies for Horror/Sci Fi/Fantasy Fans.  I've even got a few outdoor movie suggestions, for when the sun and temperature goes down.

Of course, should you want to see what's happening in the next couple of months, head over to the Horror/Sci Fi/Fantasy Calendar, where you find news on events coming up in the second half of 2022, and beyond!

Hope everyone stays safe, and keeps cool.  I'll be back next week with more events happening under The Shadow Over Portland!

If you'd like to support the site, please visit my Ko-fi page.  Thank you.
