September might be cooling down, but October is heating up for Pacific Northwest Horror/Sci Fi/Fantasy Fans!

Well, it looks as if summer is spent, if local temperatures are to be believed.  The mornings are chillier, the days are cooler and rain is in the forecast for next week.  And, as things cool down outside, the Horror/Sci Fi/Fantasy events around the Pacific Northwest are simmering down as well.  This is the first week in recent memory that has a few days with nothing happening.

But that won't last for long.....

YES!

Indeed, the Most Wonderful Time of the Year is only a few days away, and you need to check out the Horror/Sci Fi/Fantasy Calendar for all the creeptacular events coming our way.  And keep an eye on the Haunted Attractions and Corn Mazes 2017 pages as well, as I'm continuing to update those every few days.

You still have time to find work at haunted attractions in the area, so be sure to check the Open Audition page as well.

As for this edition of the Weekly Update, you'll still find lots of great events, stage shows, zombie walks and movies to keep you sated until the Halloween Season arrives!

You still have time to get your Halloween Event, or an event during this year (or in 2018!) posted on The Shadow Over Portland.  Just email me at shadowoverportland@live.com with the details and artwork, and I'll take care of the rest.  It's easy and, best of all, FREE!

And remember, help spread the word!  If you attend any of the events listed on the site, please let the organizers know you read about it at The Shadow Over Portland!!
