Fall is coming, and I can't be happier!

Well, temperatures in the Pacific Northwest are starting to cool off, signalling that summer is loosing its grip.  Better still, I heard the most joyful noise on my bike ride home; crisp leaves crunching under my bike's tires.

Yep, leaves are starting to fall, so autumn is coming!  Crisp, cool nights and crunching leaves underfoot (at least until the rain comes), shorter days, and THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR are all just around the corner.

Yep, that's where my mind went when I heard the crunching of crisp leaves.  Nearly rode my bike off the road!

Of course, if you want to start the Halloween season early, this edition of the Weekly Update has details on lots of films, a con, several stage events and even a Halloween swap meet to help you get into the mood.

And should you want to begin filling in your October calendar, the Horror/Sci Fi/Fantasy Calendar has lots of great events taking place through the rest of the year, and beyond!  And while I've added lots of great Halloween films and events to the calendar already, I expect to find lots more, so keep checking back!

Have to get back to the day job, so everyone stay safe and I'll be back next week with more exciting events happening under The Shadow Over Portland!

And I got this edition out on Friday.  We'll see if I can keep to this schedule.

If you'd like to support the site, please visit my Ko-fi page.  Thank you!
