Oh no, it's now the season of the Swift!

Okay, I have no problem with so many local theaters showing Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour during THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR.  And I'm being honest.  Let them get some of the $100 million dollar opening weekend cash.  If it helps keep the theater doors open, I'm all for it.

Also, my use of Donovan lyrics should not imply I have any opinion of Swift's music.  I've never heard one of her songs, and probably never will.  Just not my style.  I was listening to Season of the Witch, and things went from there.

Though if she ever releases a Halloween song as catchy as the Silver Shamrock jingle, I'll give it a listen.
Now you can't stop hearing that song in your head, can you?

But, due to the way the film is being released (for the most part, weekends only), it's left locally owned theaters scrambling for films to show when they can't get Swift on the screen.  And that's great for Pacific Northwest Horror/Sci Fi/Fantasy Fans, as some really cool stuff is playing when the Swifties are away.  Just check out the listings below.

I'm still behind in posting on the Horror/Sci Fi/Fantasy Calendar, and the Halloween Haunted Attractions 2023 page, sorry to say.  Changes in my day job schedule makes writing on the site a bit more difficult, and now, my bike is in need of repairs, making things even harder.  Taking Trimet buses is longer than pedaling home, and it's tough working on your laptop while on a bus.  Believe me, I've tried.

At this point, I feel I'll be caught up by November, but I'll keep posting as much of the great Halloween events happening in the Pacific Northwest as I can.

Anyway, at the day job, so have to look busy.  Have a great week, stay safe, and I'll be back next week with more great things happening under The Shadow Over Portland!
