Hey, I got the Weekly Update out on time!

I wasn't sure I'd be able to get this edition of the Weekly Update out on Friday, as I'm dealing with new tech.  Yep, after working with a computer at least 10 years old, I am now the owner of a new laptop.

You could say the old one was a bit buggy.  Okay, I'll see myself out for that one.

Of course, that doesn't mean I didn't have a few problems, as while most of my file transferred, not the programs I was running work on the new OS.  And one was my internet browser, which contained all the bookmarks I use on the site.  So I had to rebuild that folder as I was updating the calendar, which was a bit time consuming.

Who knows how many other online addresses I'll have to add before I can say everything is transferred.  And getting use to the on-keyboard mouse is still a work in progress.  But it's nice to have a computer that keeps up with my pitiful typing speed, enabling me to get a sentence on the screen without waiting several seconds for the words to appear.

Anyway, I am at the day job, and have to get back soon, so take a look below at all the great events happening in the Pacific Northwest over the next week.  Again, it's pretty much movies, but some cons are on the horizon, and I'm sure other events will start picking up soon.

And you'll find that information at the Horror/Sci Fi/Fantasy Calendar.  Just click the link and see what is coming in 2023.  Just remember, I update it every few days, so be sure to check back.

Stay safe and I'll be back next week with more great things happening under The Shadow Over Portland!
