It's a slow week for Pacific Northwest Horror/Sci Fi/Fantasy Fans, so get out and enjoy the return of the sun (if that's your thing)!

It seems the sun will be making a grand appearance in the Pacific Northwest and, in a strange serendipitous moment, the Horror/Sci Fi/Fantasy events I could find to list in this edition of the Weekly Update are quite sparse. Sure, the weekends have plenty of great films, conventions and live events, but the weekday offerings are pretty scant.  So, if you're into getting out in the sun, this is your week.  Me, I'm going to be lurking in the shadows, as I have to be careful for the first few weeks of sunshine.

Burning in the sunlight is the only thing
I have in common with vampires.
Wish it was animal magnetism instead.

But don't think this reprieve will last long.  Check out the Horror/Sci Fi/Fantasy Calendar, as you'll want to start planning for May the Fourth, the upcoming summer film festival season and whatever great stuff might be heading our way.  And be sure to keep checking back, as I'm updating the page every few days with more new and exciting events!

If you want your film festival, stage production or convention listed on The Shadow Over Portland, just email me at shadowoverportland@live.com with all the details and promotional artwork.  You won't have to do anything else and, best of all, posting on the site is FREE!

And remember, if you attend any of the events listed below, let the organizers know you read about it at The Shadow Over Portland!!
