IT'S THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR!!

Get ready, Pacific Northwest Horror/Sci Fi/Fantasy Fans!  It's the MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR!!!  And this edition of the Weekly Update shows it, as it's a LONG one.  And before the special day arrives, I'm sure the site will fill up further with great haunted attractions, movies and events.

Before the next wave of events hits, though, I'll be taking some time off for the H. P. Lovecraft Film Festival and CthulhuCon at The Hollywood Theatre in Portland, OR.  I'll be on two Sunday panels, Weird Horror in the Golden Age of Radio at 4:15 pm and HPL in Full Color, hosted by local podcaster Derek M. Koch of Monster Kid Radio at 9 pm.  Stop by and check them out!  And please say hello at any time during the festival.  I'm hard to miss, as I'm tall, bald and will be wearing a black kilt and Lovecraftian tee shirt!  And if you still need tickets, check below for details!!

The Halloween Season starts with a great, big dose
of COSMIC HORROR AND INSANITY!

While I'm still a bit behind checking out the Halloween programing at local theaters throughout the Pacific Northwest, I've added quite a few great items to the Horror/Sci Fi/Fantasy Calendar.  Check out the films coming to the Dragonfly Cinema in Port Orchard, WA, the Regal Horror Fest 2017 offerings, the cool stuff at The Academy Theater in Portland, OR, and lots more.  As for stage productions, I have the details on Yeston and Kopit's Phantom, on the stage at the Antoinette Hatfield Hall in Portland, OR.  And if you want to go outside, I've got details on the tours of Lone Fir Cemetery in Portland, OR.   Just be sure to check back later, as I know I'll be adding LOTS MORE in the coming weeks.

Over at the Haunted Attractions Page, I've added details on The Fright Factory in Buckley, WA, the Wild Waves Theme and Water Park Fright Fest in Federal Way, WA, Fear Asylum in Milwaukie, OR, the Bella Organic Farm Haunted Corn Maze in Portland, OR, the Kruger Farm Corn Maze Cabaret and Trails of Terror Haunted Maze in Portland, OR, and Stalker Farms Haunted Attractions and Nightmare on 9 in Snohomish, WA.  As for more adult haunted attractions, I've included details on The Haunted Bordello in Port Townsend, WA, and Dick Hefner's Haunted Strip Club Mansion at Spyce Gentleman's Club in Portland, OR.

Remember, just because I'll be slowing down this weekend doesn't mean it's too late to have your Horror/Sci Fi/Fantasy event listed on The Shadow Over Portland!  All you need to do is email me at shadowoverportland@live.com with the details and artwork, and I'll take care of the rest.  Don't forget, listings on the site are FREE and you'll reach hundreds of readers across the Pacific Northwest!!

And be sure to help spread the word this Halloween Season.  If you attend any of the events listed on the site, please let the organizers know you read about it at The Shadow Over Portland!
