Weekly Update Special Edition: Yeah, I missed a few things!

I said more was coming in the most recent edition of the Weekly Update, and I wasn't kidding.  The problem was I found several events coming next week AFTER posting the update.

More stuff for you to post!

So it's time for a Special Edition, full of movies and a trivia night that would have been in the Weekly Update had I known in time.  Sorry to get it to you so late, especially as some take place tomorrow (Saturday), but it does happen.  Here's hoping I won't have the same issues next week!

The Dragonfly Cinema (822 Bay St in Port Orchard, WA) will show The Shining from Friday, October 12, through Tuesday, October 16.  For more details and showtimes, visit the Facebook Event Page.
Sorry for the late notice on this one, but I found a few hours after the Weekly Update went out.  Weird Elephant at The Grand Cinema (606 S Fawcett Ave in Tacoma, WA) celebrates the 30th anniversary of the ghost with the most with a screening of  Beetlejuice on Saturday, October 13, at 11 pm.  For more details and a link to advance ticket sales, visit the Facebook Event Page.

Also on Saturday, October 13, DreadFest 2018 takes place at 8 pm at the North Bend Theatre (125 Dendigo Blvd N in North Bend, WA).  Over a dozen short horror films from local, Seattle-Area filmmakers will insure this will be a night of terror!  And admission is FREE!!  For more details, visit the Facebook Event Page.

At 7:30 pm on Tuesday, October 16, The Portland Horror Trivia Massacre takes place at Home, A Bar (719 SE Morrison St in Portland, OR).  Get your team together and test your horror knowledge to win one of two bar gift certificates.  And you could win some neat horror themed prizes in the raffle.  For more details, visit the Facebook Event Page.

Mark this one on your calendar!  On Saturday, October 20, at 8 pm, local indie horror filmmaker Joe Sherlock brings some Strange Monsters!, his most recent film, to f/stop Fitzgerald's Public House (335 Grove St NE in Salem OR).  Stop by and enjoy some cheesy B-Movie craziness, chocked full of babes and blood!  For more details, visit the Facebook Event Page.

Well, I hate to say it again, but MORE IS COMING!  Check out the Horror/Sci Fi/Fantasy Calendar and the Halloween 2018 page after this weekend for all the details!

From Ashland, OR, to Vancouver, BC, The Shadow Over Portland has you covered ALL HALLOWEEN LONG!!
