Yep, it's about a month late, but welcome to the first Weekly Update of 2019. Before we start talking about all the great Horror/Sci Fi/Fantasy events coming to the Pacific Northwest this month, I want to take a moment to thank everyone who offered their well wishes and condolences when I posted the tribute to my mother. Your responses were greatly appreciated and I thank you all once again.
Between my mother's death, traveling to Florida to help my father get the house ready to be placed on the market, and some insanely busy work days after I returned to the Northwest, it's only been in the past few days that I've found the time and energy to get back to updating the site.
So, let's talk about the weather...
Yep, snow is back in the forecast and ready to make commuting BITE!
Forecasts continue to show the potential for snow next week, though I don't think it's at a snow-pocalypse threat level. Still, if you plan to attend any of the events listed below, contact the venue before venturing out into dangerous weather conditions, to find out if the event was cancelled.
I hope the snow avoids the Pacific Northwest, as February has some amazing movies, stage shows and headed our way. But if you want to see what's coming next month (oh, believe me, you do!), check the Horror/Sci Fi/Fantasy Calendar for all the latest coming in 2019! And keep checking back for future updates!!
If you don't see your event listed on the site, email me at shadowoverportland@live.com with all the details and promotional artwork, and I'll get it on the site ASAP. Best of all, you won't be charged for it, as listings on the site are FREE!!
From Ashland, OR, to Vancouver, BC, The Shadow Over Portland has you covered!
